EMERGENCY RESPONSE PLANNING SPECIALIST / PLAN DEVELOPER

Skills & Experience: 

Successful applicants need to provide evidence of direct experience in one or more of the following key areas: 

  • Developing fire pre-plans for refineries, chemical plants or storage terminals
  • Developing Facility Response Plans to meet EPA and USCG requirements
  • Developing Emergency Response Plans for industrial facilities
  • Knowledge of regulations and industry standards
  • Knowledge of design of fire protection equipment

Applicants must also have

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Ability to interact with all levels of the organization
  • Ability to multi-task projects

INDUSTRIAL FIRE PRE-PLANNING SPECIALIST

CONTENT EDITOR - Entry Level

Job Description

TRP is seeking individuals on a full-time basis to extract content from existing documents, photographs, or files for development of response plans for major oil, pipeline, and refining companies. Prior experience is not required. Promotion opportunities and increasing responsibilities are available for those that excel in this role.  Proficiency in the following areas is required:

  • Proof-reading and copy editing
  • Data entry
  • Minor technical writing
  • HTML Editing

NOTE:This job does NOT include website design, social media or e-learning development

Desired Skills & Experience

Applicants must:

  • Have a four-year college degree
  • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Have excellent Quality Assurance/Control skills
  • Be highly organized and detail oriented
  • Have proven track record of job stability
  • Be self-directed and able to work independently or cooperatively within project teams
  • Have the ability to multi-task with several projects at a time

In addition to the skills/experience identified above, one or more of the following skills/experience are highly desirable:

  • Graphics design
  • Photo editing
  • Power Point Design

 Testing

Qualified candidates will be asked to take our custom HTML and Word Editing Tests.  If the results of those tests are acceptable, candidates will then be asked to take some standardized assessment tests.
