FEMA responded to a record setting number of disasters in 2011. They also began work on the National Preparedness Goal, a national plan for disaster preparedness and response. Those highlights are among the accomplishments found in the 2012 State of FEMA report. The document also tries to communicate all the work that FEMA does.
